Student Council
A huge congratulations to our newly elected Student Council! We are delighted to introduce this fantastic group of pupils who will proudly represent the voices of their classmates throughout the year. Working alongside Ciara McKenna, they will play an important role in promoting pupil voice, sharing ideas, and helping to make our school an even happier, more inclusive place for everyone. We are excited to see all they will achieve together and wish them every success in the year ahead!

Forest School
Over four weeks of Forest School, pupils from junior infants to second class engaged in a range of outdoor activities that fostered exploration, teamwork, creativity, and environmental awareness. In Week 1, they established a base camp, learned safety rules, and played rolling games. Week 2 involved making tea from foraged dandelions, mint, and nettles. During Week 3, children observed seasonal changes in greenery, played I-spy, and built fairy forts, showcasing imagination and collaboration. By Week 4, they had connected personally with nature by identifying and writing notes to a “grandmother tree,” building dens in small groups, and improving their physical skills and problem-solving—all while demonstrating enthusiasm and mutual support.

Science Fair Success in Letterfrack
Yesterday, the Senior Room proudly took part in the Science Fair in Letterfrack. After months of preparation on our coding project, Mission to Mars, we were thrilled to finally showcase our very own video game.
It was an exciting and thoroughly enjoyable day. The level of participation and engagement and the number of students from other schools eager to play our game, showed just how successful the project was.
A special thank you to Declan for his support and guidance over the past few weeks. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved.
