Pancakes For Paws
Our recent Readathon, Read and Raise, was a very successful fundraising campaign. Pupils collectively logged over 11,000 minutes of reading, and a total of €1,280 was raised. We are deeply appreciative of the enthusiasm shown by pupils, families, and staff in supporting this initiative. The funds will be used primarily to purchase new PE equipment and to contribute to ongoing improvements in the school yard.
Thank you all very much for support. It was a great school community effort and a great experience for the students.

Buddy Reading
We recently trialled our first Buddy Reading session in the library. The Senior Room pupils listened to, read with and asked questions of the Junior Room pupils. It was a very worthwhile experience for everyone involved, and we look forward to making it a regular part of our learning.

Garda Visit
As part of Internet Safety Week, we were delighted to welcome Garda Alan to the school. He visited each classroom and spoke to the children about a range of important topics, including staying safe online and road safety. The talks were very informative and gave the pupils plenty to think about. We greatly appreciated his time and support. He even managed to “arrest” a few of our students before he left!
